They do turn (mostly) green when you coo them, but the kids still think they’re super interesting, which is a win.
My gf grows these in our garden. They do turn green when cooked, they also turn the water you boil them in blue.
I read that as “lets you grow intestine things” and from the picture I didn’t even doubt it
Looks like the Scarlet Emperor Pole Beans that I grew last year. Not the tastiest but by far the prettiest bean I’ve ever grown.
I bought the seeds at pine tree, they call them Purple Pod Pole Bean.
They’re pretty tall and beat my Kentucky pole beans to production.
I had a few of those from the garden in a pan with green beans and I was quite surprised when I looked back and they were all green.
Look like flamingo heads in the thumbnail.
