A mixed(Black) coworker put in the mind of another POC coworker that the company saves Black people since a few layoff sessions happened and some poor performing Black coworkers survived. Eventhough we also agree there’s other poor performers who keep surviving of various races. And eventhough the poor performing Black coworkers are also getting targeted, just not first. So odds are, they probably aren’t paid enough to be worth letting go first but now the seed is planted 😒
