I remember when the trivia page for this film on imdb was the best bit of the Internet for like a few days.

The director posted an Instagram picture of his gfs 18th birthday and people realised he was 24 and they’d already been together for 4 years 😬

The trivia page was filled with stuff like “during production this movie was filmed 500 metres away from schools” etc etc and it was funny ngl before they deleted all the comments that is.

Why would you waste 91 minutes of your life watching this garbage

    • I know a staggering amount of people who would see the ‘Christianity is illegal, Christians are fighting back’ bit and suddenly its the greatest masterpiece ever made.

My dad’s a fascist (Ben Shapiro, Tucker Carlson) but I remember distinctly when he came out of “Obama’s America” he said “that was the stupidest, shittiest movie I’ve ever seen”. One of the few things he’s said I can be proud of lol

Dinesh D’loser showed up at my college campus as well, some years ago. The leftist club I was in was sanctioned and threatened with liquidation for putting up posters with his tweets justifying slavery and ICE. We were told we triggered the Black Collegiate group and they filed a grievance against us.

There’s a conservative christian film niche that rich religious fundamentalists pour a ton of money into. A bunch of the movies have a lot of the same actors too.

They’re marketed as “family films” or whatever and get promoted/screened in a lot of churches (I used to date a girl whose family invited me to church a few times and they played trailers for these films before the service lol).

Every film has basically the same plot, which usually involves one of the characters being a “liberal/atheist” strawman, acting really arrogant and dismissive of god or christianity, and then something big happens and they suddenly realize they were wrong and become born again as a humble conservative christian. Here’s an example of one (from Kirk Cameron!).

Christians are always eager to play the victim even though there’s been a Christian running the various empires that ruled earth for a thousand years.

Anything good happens: “Christianity is a bastion of civilization”

Anything bad happens: “Religion played no part in it, it’s just a power struggle!”

Anything bad happens: “This wouldn’t have happened if people gave more power to the church and were more devout.”

Polish commonwealth explaining why they are an bastion of christianity and civilisation on the barbaric east, so every western countries funds them against the russians, turks and soviets:

        • Funnily enough, all that shit was decided in XIV century by the lithuanian pagan warlord Jogaila, his even worse cousin Vytautas (comitted apostasy twice, baptized three times, collaborated with Teutonic Knights) and a bunch of fat nobles from Krakow who barely give a fuck about such nonsense but elected stongest guy with common enemy.

The filmmaker, if you can call him that, is a Christian-fascist German who came to Youtube infamy a while back. He is part of, or maybe even runs, a super weird independent fanatical church in Germany.

I tried watching this but only made it half way though. Surprise - there’s nothing that resembles communism. It’s just a dystopian future where it’s illegal to be religious. It’s a truly brutal movie because it’s so low budget they’re only ever able to film two people talking in a room.

The description reads like a child throwing buzzwords all “over the place” lmao. “Communism is all over the place”? Like what is that supposed to even mean? Like the ghost of communism took a globe and a paint brush and kind of flung communism paint all about and every splatter just turned into a little mini USSR? Like it’s just a thing thay sort of sprouts up like weeds speckling a yard? Lmao.
