Think about it. Ma Qi is a Muslim and most Uyghurs are Muslim (racist connection, I know, but they would totally try to make that one). They would probably create propaganda whining about how Ma Qi was the “rEaL liBErAtOr” of the Uyghur people.
Xinjiang under Sheng got support from the Soviet Union; has always been home to the Uyghur people; and gets mentioned for “hUmAn RiGhTs AbUsEs”; but I don’t see any mention of Xinjiang under Sheng Shicai, only of Xi Jinping.
The western bourgeoisie could probably fund sheng or Ma Clique supremacist groups.
The educated were never the targeted audience, when they lie they don’t spend time and effort to make up elaborate lies that actually try to convince people who might or might not believe them, instead they just find people who they know will believe in whatever random ass bullshit they spill
