Not that I have seen. There were talks about this earlier this year, around spring and the motivation given was wanting to avoid USian sanctions - since USA sanctions not only countries themselves, but also those who want to trade with said countries. Could be that

I suppose Huawei isn’t as highly sanctioned as Russia, so there are a few countries they might become unable to trade with, but considering the aggression against China, at least some of their industries (non-essential things, such as consumer electronics) will probably be subject to the same sanctions in the not too distant future. I’d assume continued trade with Russia could make up for those losses, though
Why are liberals fixated with calling the Ukrainian capital “kiyv”? They aint calling the Russian capital “moskva” or the Italian capital “Roma”

It’s gone from Kiev to Kyiv over here as well. Which makes no sense of you still pronounce it like Key-yef, which they do. Kyiv would be pronounced differently but that doesn’t matter apparently.

I don’t think I can help with that. My highschool history class taught Algerian revolution to some extent, mainly as a fuck you to France I think, but I couldn’t give you any source right now unfortunately.

Yes, speaking from personal experience, Russians are extremely superstitious and hardline Christians and do genuinely believe that 8 year old’s pretending to be ghosts is devil worshiping.

I just did the whitest thing possible. I volunteer at this football (soccer) club for children in poverty and they had an event this morning. I wanted to help out and they gave me sandwhiches for lunch. Some of them contained meat, and I don’t eat meat.
I gave them away to a homeless person afterwards. He asked if something was wrong. I said: ‘no they are perfectly fine, I just don’t eat meat’

I lost my taste and my smell I think. Daily covid tests in the last few days were negative. Today’s test didn’t work for some reason. I have college tomorrow and you need an actual doctor’s note in order to be lawfully absent. My doctor is available 14 november at his earliest. I will call tomorrow morning if he can write me a note. Otherwise I HAVE to be present in order to continue the course.
