First, it would blacklist and sanction social media services, including TikTok, that are controlled by foreign adversaries. They would be removed from app stores, and access to their websites would be blocked.

Second, it would require American companies of these blacklisted platforms to register as foreign agents. It would also block most visas for foreign employees of these companies.

    Blocking access to a website could violate freedom of speech. Congress does have the ability to regulate trade so all advertisement dollars from the us could be halted. I would argue the app stores could refuse to remove a app but could be forced not to do buisness with them. So Congress could make it illegal to do business with bytedance the parent company and then tiktok would not be able to afford their server bills.

    Because China blocks facebook, youtube, twitter, amazon this should have been done a long time ago anyways.
