I was in Fediverse a while before. And I felt sick for its political extremism and harassment base on political views and wars between lefts VS rights (And both of them start to centrists).

I remember I can being a transwoman and a “NAZI” in the same day on Mastodon and Pleroma, both of labels are just caused by they are unable to handle a person who is not left or right in their mind. (I had Misskey, Mastodon and Pleroma instances before.)

My political belief is individualism, and I think rejecting vaccination is personal freedom.- Can this statement get me a ban here? Well, this is my faith.

Can I forbid people upvote and downvote me in my posts? If this is the feature not developed yet, will this feature add in future? I think that makes people easier to being manipulated.

There are a lot of bannings on https://lemmy.ml/modlog how could I know who is the mod gave the bans?

I would be thankful if I can get the answers here.

Given your account age, I doubt you took a lot of time to interact or read what has already been discussed here (and on other instances). Why the questions about banning (makes it seem like a ban-evasion)? Also, why the antivax/freedom example? Why not observe and try to understand the culture? If you don’t like it you can make your own instance (or find another one). In my opinion, if you have to worry about getting banned before starting then maybe you should not use it to begin with.

I feel that this is a recognizable and common type of troll. The “just asking questions” and just “wanting to understand” troll. What they do is ask what is allowed and use that as a tone in which to elevate a range of troll subjects, like antivax, freezepeach, half-joking nazi references, to try and make those subjects more visible and more normalized.

It’s the way trolling is done as of 2022.

This person was maybe trying to find mod activity to time the raid.

There is other instances you can visit otherwise and there’ll probably be a sub that suit your believes.

Hiding downvotes seems a bit futile. Just assume that the public opinion isn’t on your side.

I didn’t find an instance on the list that claim to be against political extremism.

What if I set up an lemmy instance and make 100 bots to upvote my posts only?

I guess you’ll have to lower you expectations cause both of these problems can’t be fixed right away.

You might creat your own instance if you’re into computer thing and you’ll be able to ban the bot on it, but that seems a bit overkill. More instances will be created eventually as Lemmy grow.

Maybe, but better to ask the developer about the software functions adding… @nutomic , hello?

I said I had Misskey, Mastodon and Pleroma instances before.(as an admin)

Claiming to be against political extremism is political extremism.

When I first joined lemmy, I decided to test the waters with a little dark humor. Someone asked if reddit users are called redditors what should we called ourselves (lemmy users)? I jokingly said we should just call ourselves (homophobic slur f-word) and that it has a nice ring to it. I got banned immediately. So yeah, still lefty around here.

If you’re looking for primarily nonpolitical content Lemmy isn’t the best place just out of the box… Also not to mention you’re automatically put on the flagship instance Lemmy.ml which has mostly left-wing content. To help avoid being stuck in an echo chamber I joined Wolfballs which is a right-wing instance; and what I’m in the process of doing is blocking political sublemmys on both instances. I want to be able to find good, new, origanal content without having a narrative or conspiracy theory clogging up my feed. (And I just don’t care about the American left vs right stuff, If I cared I would use Twitter.) I think if you made a sublemmmy called “We love Adolf Hitler” you’d probably get banned, which at that point were you’re making a sublemmy called that, you’re just asking for it.

I was asking would the software developer use relationship bullying to interfere any admins block certain instances or not. So you are not answering the question.

I saw it on Mastodon before: if you are not blocking Gab, I am going to block you… Such kind of stupid dramas.

Even if I am not going to join this instance by my political view, this will be effecting the software developing.

From the time I’ve been on Lemmy the Admins haven’t been in any drama, and have said in comment threads that they don’t get involved unless someone’s breaking TOS. They did de-federate with Wolfballs but that had no drama as far as I’m aware. If you’re gonna start your own instance, I’d like to join : )

My comment might be a bit controversial, but I’m being honest, and stand by what I wrote.
