A lot of the IP theft for non secure stuff comes from the laws that any Non-Chinese company in China has to buddy with a Chinese company and knock off products soon flood China. This doesn’t necessarily mean tech or trade stuff has been stolen though. Chinese knock off companies have no problem recreating the shell of something with substandard parts inside. The problem is so bad that OEM electronics manufacturers can no longer guarantee their stuff does what it says it does. You can buy an Anker phone charger and find out the hard way it was from a factory that did this inside Anker’s own supply chain. (Anker is a peripherals and accessories electronics company based in China that sells all over the world.)

Read what they actually said. You’re just making yourself look like a fool. If you wrote, “The guy who killed the UHC CEO should get off” you’d be fine. It’s also used to tell people they should go do something because “no jury in the world would convict you”. Like when white juries in the American south actually refused to convict white people who murdered black people, no matter how much evidence there was.

When Jury Nullification is mentioned on it’s own it’s fine. When it’s mentioned in combination with calling for violence, it’s bad. And it should be bad, we’ve seen it used so badly we created the Federal Civil Rights statutes that allow the Feds to effectively step in and prosecute those racially motivated murders in a different state.

Nah the article makes it clear the Democratic leadership has been captured by corporate executives who have a vested interest in not giving the working class an inch.

There is also a giant undercurrent of wealth ministry in the American upper classes. Since about the 1960’s they’ve been pushing the idea that God blesses good people with money and punishes bad people by making them poor. It’s mixed with the Protestant Work Ethic so they also see poor people as lazy and undeserving.

It’s a completely self serving and self fulfilling ideology but it makes them feel good so we all have to suffer because we lost the lottery at birth.
