He really, really wants to know what we’re up to in the kitchen! The window is at eye level with the little game trail between us and our neighbors, but thankfully there’s a big drop between him and the window.

Oh man, I have to admit it’s been so tempting to try to befriend him! We have 4 cats and 3 small elderly dogs so we have to try to discourage the local wildlife from hanging around. There’s a motion-activated camera on that little game trail and every night all sorts of animals pass through. One night two raccoons spent several minutes mating right under the camera. 😂 But, there are also coyotes, stray cats, a grey fox, a rare skunk… so it’s better if that guy just keeps moving along.

Have the mating raccoons asked you for the footage to post on their OnlyFans? But yeah, probably best not to invite in a raccoon if you already have pets, they might object. My cat flips out if she even sees another animal out the window. She yowls until I come to see if she’s dying, then looks at me like I’m supposed to climb out the window and chase it away.
