Dafuq does “own ecosystem” even mean? Last time I checked, tourists can visit it, there’s foreigners residing there. Is he just whining about limitations on foreign investors buying up capital there?

You don’t get to demand another country to open up while you’re at this exact moment having lawmakers demanding to banish them from your own markets. And hey, maybe China would be more receptive to foreign investment right now if the west didn’t have a history of invading them and massacring civilians, then stealing artifacts that they refuse to return to this day, then having their KMT comprador lapdogs do the same.
