Like I said in the other thread, I’d rather vote for Biden’s dead corpse and hear fox news bitch about him being sleepy for 4 years than have a dictator.

Agreed. It is way past time to reform our electoral system to give third parties a chance through star and approval voting. And the bullshit that happens with the primaries being run however the parties like needs to end.

Would be cool if we had a universal rating system like yelp reviews, but for politicians. Ted Cruz sitting at a galactic 1.4 stars, Trump rocking 0.9 stars, Obama with like a 3.5, and then a ton of third party candidates with 4 or 5 stars, all with relevant written reviews. Economy’s shit? You voted in a 1-star fascist, so of course you got 1-star quality. Alabama became the second most educated state in the country? Those 5-stars are absolutely killing it. Keep it up Alabama. Feel like nothing’s getting done in your home state? Check those reviews, boot out the 3-stars and below. They’re not taking their job seriously enough. Remember to take the time to review your senator during midterms!

I wish we had two better people running. I don’t see Trump as a “Republican”. He’s his own beast. I know people from all parties who jumped on his bandwagon.

I’m not overly thrilled with the current Republicans but I’m hoping the next generation will get us back on track. I want to see less religion in the party, less social conservatism and pro-business but not a slave to companies.

We already see the next generation of republicans as less socially conservative and more pro environment.

Hmm it’s an interesting use of the words “social conservatism” to describe people who would vote for someone with 91 criminal charges.

Most those charges are banana republic crap. They are attacks on his politics. That’s how scared the democrats are of Trump.

Social conservatives are more focused two adult males having sex than the trumped up charges.

I don’t care if two men have sex as long as I don’t have to see it. I believe the government should stay out of things that are not harmful.

Trump was most recently indicted on 13 criminal counts by a Fulton County grand jury in Georgia state court related to his alleged attempts to overturn the results of Georgia’s 2020 presidential election.

Separately, Trump was indicted by a federal grand jury on 4 counts in a criminal proceeding in Washington, D.C., also related to his alleged attempts to overturn the will of the voters and interfere with the 2020 presidential election results.

Trump has also been indicted by a different federal grand jury in Florida on 40 counts in relation to both obstructing an investigation into, and his unlawful retention of classified documents after his presidential term.

Finally, Trump has been indicted on 34 counts in a criminal proceeding in New York State Court related to hush money payments made to an adult film star during the 2016 presidential campaign.

All of the grand juries that decided to indict Trump were are made up of local citizens randomly chosen from the jury pool.

Grand juries don’t decide guilt. They decide if there is enough cause to send to a trial. Finding enough people to send it to trial isn’t that hard.

Look at Georgia and how much silliness is going on there. Only one prosecutor said they would take the case. If she is disqualified, the case will be dropped. The fact that everyone denied the case is pretty telling of the quality of the charges.

Trump held onto documents, and the courts must decide on this one since it is a complex issue. Interestingly, Biden did the same thing, yet he was declared too feeble-minded to be prosecuted. It’s not a great look when he wants to be president.

              The 34 counts are bogus.

              https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-felony-charges-legal-experts-indictment-falsifying-business-records/

One of the arguments is he paid off Stormy, as his sleeping with a porn star might hurt his chances of being the president. It is so silly it’s absurd. The people voting for Trump in 2016 likely saw that as a positive. The whole argument falls apart when you understand the people who voted for Trump in 2016.

So far I have seen nothing other than Banana Republic level stuff. It is a shame the Democrats are so afraid of Trump winning that they go full banana republic. If you have noticed, it has only increased Trump’s appeal.

I had debated strongly about voting for him in the next election, but all these Trumped-up changes have made me decide to vote for Trump.

I’m not here to argue with you. I don’t care about your feelings just the facts. You can look into the charges further at your own leisure. I’m not here to debate them with you. And I’m definitely not here for what aboutisms. If somebody breaks the law and gets caught then a trial is commenced based on evidence. If you can’t get enough evidence to convince a grand jury to indite then there is clearly not a case.

I am stating facts. The charges are political.

Just because a grand jury agreed, doesn’t mean it’s a good case. It’s why the Georgia case is falling apart quickly. Should have never went to a grand jury.

Even if convicted, Trump can still be president.

Well it just goes to show the hypocrisy of evangelical and socially conservative voters. Jesus never said anything about gay people but there is a direct quote from Jesus in the book of Matthew about divorce. Trump is on his third wife and was unfaithful at least once if news reports are to be believed.

What a choice: The old and confused current president hands out bombs with one hand and humanitarian aid with the other. The other option is a rapist and criminal up to his eyeballs in debt for his misdeeds. These are symptoms of a system that is breaking down.

“Trump is a convicted rapist” and “Trump is a rapist” are not the same.

He wasn’t convicted due to the statute of limitations (~12 years for rape). We don’t need to have a conviction to know he is a rapist.

                So quit the bullshit.

Why do you hate facts? It’s strange how the left lies then thinks if they repeat them lie, someone will believe them.

My mistake. I suppose if you asked most Americans if they would vote for a rapist, they’d give you a resounding No.

But what if you ask them, would you vote for a sexually abusive forced digital penetrator? One with a reputation for walking into beauty pageant dressing rooms and dozens of accusations of sexual impropriety going back for years? It seems many Americans would say Yes, uwu!

No, he is not a rapist, as he never had sex with that woman, but either way, rape is a crime, and he was not convicted of a crime.

Maybe you should read the difference between civil court and criminal court.

It is funny to see the liberals use the terms all wrong while being so confident. Trump was never charged with a crime. It was a civil claim that was hog wash.

Hmm, one of them isn’t great, and the other is a verifiable traitor, seditionist, rapist, draft-dodger, fraudster, criminal, who stole money from students and cancer patients, and is facing 91 felony charges in multiple courts of law. Yeah… Tough choice.
