Primary results from more than 1,000 counties show clear warning signs for Trump with Republican voters in exurbs and small towns.

    Thoughts on this?

The important thing, of course, is to vote; Trump’s victory in 2016 could in part be blamed on the fact that few people thought he would actually win.

But, polls and pundits have consistently underestimated Trump’s popularity since the beginning; while the GOP has definitely been underperforming in the last few elections, it does the opposite in elections where Trump is on the ballot.

I’d like to believe what this article says is true - that his strength is fading - but only time will tell.

Idk. It’s hard to have a strong feeling on these things. Information sources are so skewed these days.

I’m honestly expecting the worst outcome. Maybe I’m too affected by personal bias but I see too many people disenfranchised with both parties and the entire system that they won’t even vote.

I think a significant percentage of eligible voters have lost ALL hope. We’re politically and socioeconomically disenfranchised, corporations are turbocharging the Anthropocene mass extinction event with impunity, reality is horrifying, and we’re just fucking exhausted.

The enthusiasm for him is definitely diminished. Four years ago there were Trump flags everywhere in my area, just a few faded ones now.
