It was great while it lasted. I submitted my email for any future updates from the dev but I still don’t know why it kept working after 1 July.

I don’t blame you, it’s the guy in the picture that’s the problem. The app I’m using only shows options to block you or the community entirely, neither of which is what I’m after. I thought maybe there was something I was missing, guess it’s the app missing it.
Boost finally stopped working last week. The dev says he’s making a version of Boost for Lemmy though!
Boost still works. You need to make yourself a mod - to do that make a subreddit on desktop. There is a Vanced patch as well which I have used, but as far as I am aware it’s not required.
I appreciate the tip, but I’ve already stopped using reddit entirely at this point. I’ll still try Boost for Lemmy when it comes out though!
I gave up but have gone back for the niche subs. In particular there is a fairly active and funny one for rugby union that just doesn’t exist elsewhere unfortunately
