It’s Texas. They’re just talking about a steam engine train where passengers will be given loaded six-shooters upon boarding.
Probably, I don’t see the power grid keeping up.
Buffalo is back on the menu apparently
Is this the 2nd or 3rd time its been revived?
Sure beats taking 24 hours by train to get from Dallas to Houston via San Antonio.
PS: Houston Amtrak Station itself is a nightmare to find nestled under the intersection of I-10 and I-45. Hope they get a new one in a location better accessible by transit with the High Speed Line.
I can’t remember who I heard it from, or where I read it, but if it’s the same proposal, then it starts North West off 290 after the 99 loop. Then angles its way North East to DFW with some stops for places like Waco.
Just what 290 needs, MORE traffic
Quite annoying it doesn’t have a stop in Austin or San Antonio. A ton of people commute from San Antonio to Austin daily and I bet most people would still rather drive all the way from SAT to DFW rather than drive to HOU and leave their car.
Give it time. They’ll add a stop at some point. (If it gets built at all.)
In US bullets carry you.
