Affordable to who?
Right!? Our last ‘new’ car was a used one for $15,000 that we financed through our credit union. The payments were the most we felt we could comfortably handle. We’d love to get an electric, so hopefully we can find a decent used one when the time comes.
Used ones can be really cheap at this point.
I was all for electric to combat Arab Jihadi supporting, Climate destroying fossil fuels, but seeing how all the EV’s are ET Phone Home data privacy and tracking nightmares, I’ve become less keen on the idea
Thing is all new gas cars do the phone home thing too
That’s just new cars, drivetrain be damned
That’s true, which is why I’ve become less keen on new cars in general.
