    I mean if you actively decide to leave the EU, which allowed people to travel freely between member countries, i dont think you have the right to complain about having to follow the rules for entering the EU from the outside.

    The militarization of EU borders is a different topic that doesnt really have anything to do with this situation.

      I agree with you but on the other hand it’s a bit weird because this is happening amidst the anniversary of D-Day, so one would think they had clearance from the get go if they were invited to perform

        Honestly I will be the first to blame our police to be overzealous but on everything Brexit related I kind of got used to the fact that the UK government just does not do its job. Yeah, you would assume that it is not hard to organize: military do exercises together frequently, they probably have arrangements. Feels like someone just did not fill the form.
