    The UK has the worst paternity leave offer in Europe, with only two statutory weeks of leave, paid at £184.03 a week.

    In comparison Canada offers 5 weeks guaranteed and 35 weeks that can be shared with the other parent (and 15 weeks guaranteed for the other parent) at 55% of the person’s salary…

      55% up to an amount, maximum $668 a week, or £370. Still, double what UK gets.

      Two weeks is awful for pat leave.

        I didn’t remember the max without looking

        The max is what someone would get if their salary is 63k/year or more to put that in perspective, median income in Canada is about 50k for the 25-34 y.o. bracket
