Well. I suppose this means that people who know how to jailbreak hardware and liberate it from its software-imposed limitations are going to be in higher and higher demand. These fucks need to be taught that once they sell a product it’s not “their” product anymore.

Sounds like it was Deye that bricked them and referred customers to Solark to deal with it. Complete dick move.
Hopefully my Growatt in Australia is immune. Could unplug the wifi dongle I guess but it’s nice to have the stats available.

Doesn’t seem it was SolArk that had any part in this but a check in the firmware written by Deye. They claim it’s always been there though it is highly suspicious this happened to seemingly multiple people on the same day.
The fact it’s even technologically possible, is a crime.
