Plus he did jail time for a long time, too.

I never really knew how to answer that, I just say no kasi malay ko ba. Akala ko joke sis. Wild ko naman kung umoo ako.

It kinda makes sense now. I did feel na may kakaiba but yknow, not really my business plus wala naman akong naramdamang hostile energy or something.

Tapos pag late ako uuwi kukulitin pa ako nun baka ma-holdap ako (other coworker is suki sa holdap unfortunately).

I don’t really want to judge.

      about this drug addict’s

mid nung pandemic, na diagnose with cancer yung bayaw ko… so everyone was sympathetic to the current situation… the dude started to feel the toll of whatever he is feeling… more frequent hospitalization… then suddenly, biglang nag ook na daw pakiramdam… the wife was very supportive… bought enough oils for at least 3-4 years use siguro… so akala ni wife niya, oil was helping… until the dude, i dont why or for what reason, stop whatever he was into…

in my own interpretation of what happened next, everything was so bad… he pointed to throw away the portable aircon/humidifier furiously… hitting my wife with a remote controller saying she is satan or something… nung nahimasmasan, in a way, umamin… he takes drugs and yun dun nakatago sa humidifier yung mga gamit… admitted that he do it with his friends in the house, stay in dad kasi siya… and they probably do it while his daughter was in the house… imagine, with your daughter and having a session with your friends… at this point, the wife insists that he leave the house… i mean who wouldnt? he endangered his daughter life at one point right?

when he was diagnosed, doctor said about 6 more months/year, was not clear… i think he was diagnosed around feb or march then around oct ata, we had to go to their house… it was a good 15km ata from our home… emergency na, nagbiro pa siya if kaya ko siyang buhatin papunta kotse nila… i drove their car as well… frantic… not too fast not too slow… about 3-5 km yung hospital from their house…

its pandemic, even before we got into the emergency room, Doc/Nurses asking what is the problem… sad part is that they cannot take him in because he is not a covid patient… wife just mentioned repeatedly that he has cancer… hindi na ako nakialam… hospital personnel have their directive… until finally he was taken in but too late… the following morning, deretso na kami crematorium…

      haists… lunes pala ngayon…

I don’t even remember the last time I wore a jacket due to the rain.

Sabi sa kabila need daw natin “ma-Oppenheimer” for us to restart and rebuild from scratch and become a better country. Except that didn’t happen with Japan, lol. Only about 2km of Hiroshima was vaporized. To put it in perspective, the distance from Kamuning Road to Ortigas is thrice than that. The fallout also mostly affected those who were present during the blast; it was safe to stay there after a few weeks.

Even if by argument’s sake we wipe out the entire country, who’s to say that we could rebuild it and put up a much better nation afterwards?? You must be drinking from the same Kool Aid as those who voted for Duterte.

Will you please STFU Neri Naig and Chito Miranda? There is a time and a place for your Chinkee Tan BS. And that time and place is in a very isolated location, where no one is likely to be for about a fucking hundred years.

The couple has a new article again about financial advice that I saw while curating news to post.

They have a habit of posting stuff like Neri investing her money instead of buying bags, which is just tone deaf and privileged. People typically make little as it is, and if it helps their mental health to buy a pair of shoes or get highlights, then there’s nothing wrong with that.

I wouldn’t know the entire context, baka sa socmed nila mas mala. But this particular piece in the link didn’t seem so bad. Or maybe mababa lang comprehension ko.

But to your point, in the current climate now I feel like putting value in your own mental and emotional state has taken a back seat (over the course of decades) to being “productive” or “earning”. Kaya nagbe-breakdown and nabu-burnout yung iba because there seems to be no end in sight. The glorification of hustle culture makes matters even worse.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with taking a break and rewarding yourself from time to time. Lalo na kung makakatulong sa longevity mo in terms of going for your goals.

Aside from glorifying hustle culture, toxic positive pieces like that fail to point out the resources the “successful” person initially had. Chito comes from a certain clan with money and connections. One might ask, “Why can’t I be successful like them?”, but fails to realize the difference in privileges, it can affect the person’s self-worth.

What’s worse is that other people might begin to think that poverty is just laziness or a lack of willpower.

Is it just me or may nagma-mass downvote ng replies by certain phlemmings? I noticed that some comments na literally kaka-post lang “0” kaagad yung counter.
