An article about a tweet :( Writing quality is so incredibly low it makes me feel like the target audience is 5 years old.
Leaker uses twitter so article bad?
Article is not bad because leaker uses twitter. Article is bad, because there are so many more words than in the tweet, and yet absolutely nothing of value is added.
Besides that, consider this bollocks:
Nevertheless, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and MediaTek Dimensity flagship processors are still very powerful, feature-filled chipsets. So the vast majority of people wouldn’t miss out on much if some high-end phones released next year used these chips instead of the latest and greatest Snapdragon silicon.
The “So the vast majority” should not be a new sentence as it simply continues the logical chain of the previous one. This screams to me some sort of service like grammarly suggested making the sentences shorter to make it “more undestandable”, but the author clearly has given fewer than 1 of sexual intercourses to actually think about what he’s doing.
TLDR: the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 might be pricier than usual. Alternatives considered by some brands are the SD 8 Gen 2 or MediaTek Dimensity.
Opinion: To me it doesn’t make much sense to buy a flagship phone without a flagship processor.
If I was buying a new phone, it would be the Poco F5 with SD7 Gen2, much better value chip.
It seems like every year Qualcomm’s prices are higher than ever, yet the major companies still use their latest and greatest. Have they finally gotten too expensive, or is this just the same reporting as we get every year as companies trust that consumers will buy at whatever price they decide to charge.
