Nice goal, but I do not think the way they are going about it is good. Basically they seem to be defaulting to share everything unless you opt out.

I want a search engine where I can block certain sites and they don’t come up in search
so that I don’t see sites that have paywall or cookie popups etc

i think letting people know about cookies is good but how these sites make consent boxes is ridicules.
It is almost like they are trying to make the system unworkable so then they will not need consent
