Serbia’s populist Prime Minister Milos Vucevic resigned Tuesday in an attempt to calm political tensions following weeks of massive anti-corruption protests over the deadly collapse of a concrete canopy.
The canopy collapse in November, which killed 15 people in the northern city of Novi Sad, has become a flashpoint reflecting wider discontent with the increasingly autocratic rule of Serbia’s populist President Aleksandar Vucic. He has faced accusations of curbing democratic freedoms in Serbia despite formally seeking European Union membership for the troubled Balkan nation.
The mayor of Novi Sad also is resigning too, the people there did an amazing job, an example for many other countries.

Congratulations!
Vucevic has a very similar name to Vucic
I’m having trouble understanding this. I don’t see anywhere in the article where guillotines were used. But that can’t be true since there’s an overwhelming number of posts and comments online that history has proven only violence can defeat these leaders.
Its almost as if every country, people and political situation is unique and requires a specific solution. Sometimes you dont need violence, sometimes you do.
he knows what Serbs are capable of, there was no way he was gonna try and push them further
