This is from Pornhub’s 2022 Year in Review and shows that women are bigger fans (or consumers, anyway) of porn of bondage, threesomes and gangbangs.

Anyone else surprised? Any women feel free to womansplain why it’s actually obvious.

    I’m well represented on this list so I’m not that surprised.

    Bondage and other more “extreme” interests are underreported in women due to stigma and especially with gangbangs, the idea of being the center of attention and getting that fantasy of being the focus of multiple partners at once is a very sexy scenario that pushes a lot of the right buttons

    I am a (heterosexual) woman and the only porn I really like is D/s stuff. Threesomes if MFM or MMf (2 dom bi guys, one subby lady) But video is least favorite media. Written stories > pictures > video.

    In real life nothing is actually hotter than one on one, it’s the gold standard. Plain ol sex is great. Everything else is good but mostly because it makes that plain sex afterwards so hot. But power dynamics works best for fantasy, always has and I guess always will.

    The girl/girl stuff id imagine it’s because we believe the women are actually getting off, and it’s easier to buy in. I don’t enjoy it though, so can’t say for sure.

    It’s not super surprising to me. I’m not part of the community, but my wife has a bunch of clients in the bdsm community, and from what she’s been told it’s usually the women who initiate the rougher stuff.

    I watch a lot of solo male content but I’m surprised gay male porn isn’t on there! Being a straight woman it’s much the same for me as it is for straight men who like lesbian porn. I’m into dudes, so two dudes doing hot things with each other is great!

      Right, but remember that rape/nonconsenting is also huge in porn/erotic literature. Watching/reading about something can be titillating, even if doing it personally is not.
