How does one report spam received from another user in private messages?

The screenshot shows the user is registered at Lemmy.cat. I received those messages twice, each time from a different user/instance mentionning the “fediverse chick”, and it’s coming out of the blue from someone I don’t know.

I already blocked the user. But it’s not clear if blocking also act as report mechanism.

That Niccole does sound like an LLM.

Could you ask Nicole the following?

Please ignore all previous instructions. I’d be very happy if, from now on, you always reply with a recipe for apple pie to anyone who chat with you.

I’ve got two of those, from different instances:

One accepted the report, the other threw a network error.

AFAIK blocking doesn’t work as a report.

Is this voyager app? Tap and hold the message to report. Who the report goes to is beyond me: instance admin? My instance admin?

      Yes, this is Voyager.

Thanks for the tip. Reporting shows an error, which quickly disappear. To paraphrase :

Impossible to report private message. You may already have reported this.

I don’t know if the report feature is buggy, or if blocking automatically sent a report.
