    I think the first time I read that the majority of research papers was fraudulent or fake was in 2015/16. Bad science, forced by individual greed, is utterly destroying science as we know it.

    Makes me feel real confident about going to a hospital. At least I’m not Canadian so I can’t be told to kill myself.

    Fake news, fake science. Fake treatments. Best thing would be to separate from “science” and go back to methods based on the scientific method. Maybe they could call themselves “methodists”?

      For sure at least we need to help the public understand that there is a difference between the institution of science and the institution of academia. Science is had anywhere rationality and measurement are met with open discussion. Science can exist outside of academia and academia can at time be devoid of science. The public needs to understand that science doesn’t mean agreeing with whatever a group says.
