This is awesome. The title is misleading though, it’s being checked into the code base and can be enabled with a flag. No guarantees it’s included in the base interpreter anytime soon
The crafting of titles is a tricky thing :) Sure, you could say that the title should read “Python 3.13’s code base will have the addition of support for a JIT” or similar, but at the end of the day, does this distinction actually matter so long as the article contains the important bits in an accurate way?
I guess what I’m saying is that we’re in subjective territory here and to my mind, I’ve seen WAY more egregious examples of misleading utter click bait titles.
It’s not horrible and yes a little pedantic. Also OP just copied the title from the blog so no fault there. Maybe something like “Python 3.13 will ship with experimental JIT flag” would have been more precise but it’s no big deal. I was more dropping a comment to summarize for others who hadn’t read the article rather than to be overly critical of title
