      As someone who only plays a couple hours here and there- (wife, kids, job, etc),

      The pace of this game so far has been working pretty great.

      Granted, I only have 6 hours- but, still- the pace works well for pick up and go.

      6 hours in, have not left the first solar system yet…

      BUT, here is the 5th iteration of my starting ship.

      (Just scrapped a ship graveyard.)

      And- 4 hours later, you wouldn’t even recognize the ship now. lol

      I spend more time redoing things, then I do kill stuff. By choice.

        are shipyards in the game yet? My wife and tried coop but if one of our ships was destroyed, it was impossible for the other to help build a new one.
