I was watching one of those videos once where a non-religious person debates a religious person (which are always good to angry up the blood lol) and when asked about fossils that proved the world was more than 6000 years old the guy was like “well you weren’t there to see that happen so how do you know it’s true?” And the other person just let that go by instead of being like “Motherfucker, are you 2000 years old? Did you meet Jesus?” which still bothers me a bit to this day.
But weren’t you involved with burying those fossils? I mean, I know you were mostly focused on fjords and coastlines (good job with Norway, btw,) but the topic must have come up at the office at least a few times.
Nice catch 👌 😁
creationists vs. fossil facts = evolutionists vs. cambrian explosion
LoL no, ≠
Saying “evolutionists” like believing some of the most well-established value neutral facts in the history of the known universe is an ism 🤦
Missed chance there
Well you obviously can’t believe everything you read when it’s some vague nonsense like proven facts and peer reviewed results by top professionals in their fields from around the world.
reading the bible is a surefire way to stop believing tho
There is this quote: Atheism is what happens when you read the bible. Christianity is what happens when somebody else reads it for you.
A huge amount of Christians don’t even believe what’s in the Bible, if they’ve read it at all. Jesus was a brown communist who was murdered by the police and his #1 teaching was “don’t be a dick to people”.
Technically he was killed by religious leaders. Pontius Pilate really didn’t have much choice with the pharisees protesting to have Jesus crucified.
