You can be tolerant of intolerance. But its got to be about homophobia, sexism, threats of violence, and hatred of the status quo. But it only works if a minority is doing it.

The problem is the same all over Europe people are unhappy with immigration from MENA.

None of the centre or left parties will deal with it, except in Denmark and Poland which coincidentally have seen lower votes for far right parties. But that’s probably unrelated right.

I think I actually did.

I always got told I could do whatever I wanted and didn’t know what I wanted to do. But I figured I didn’t want to do anything manual into old age so ruled that out. I knew I wanted to do a lot of different things and work with different people. But talking can be difficult.

Emails and working together with lots of other people and working on problem is great. Wearing a suit and making big decision seemed really interesting.

Work in general sucks but it beats the alternatives. Everyone on this website comes across as somewhat autistic. Dealing with people isn’t the end of the world.

A lot of people think rockets can be very profitable. Its just a long term bet and you lack imagination. I would need to check but I’m pretty certain spacex is profitable.

Those other companies are still in R and D.

The only billionaire I know of that is launching rockets is Elon Musk.

That’s just evidence that capitalism is efficient. Because SpaceX has revolutionised space travel making the only reusable rocket doing something all the government agencies said was impossible. NASAs new unbuilt rocket is using tech from the 1970 that they are going to throe away into the ocean on every launch.

There has been efficiency gains throughout. Capitalism is amazing for that, far better than other systems.

The problem is too many people. If standard of living is to increase then the resource requirement is due to massive unsustainable population growth.

That and the fact the public hate externalities and don’t want them used at all never mind aggressively.

Yea even when I’m really into this I found I just don’t care anymore. It’s too far away and a lot is moving right now.

I want news about past growth or next 6 months maybe a year. Everything else is a lifetime away and potentially horseshit in this industry.

With the price solar and batteries are going gas is going to be dead very soon in places that don’t have European winter solar potential.
