So, Patch 8 is preparing for stress testing later this month (from what I’ve seen), so that would imply most development work is complete and they’re doing testing and bug fixing right now. That wouldn’t require most of their resources anymore.

Yes, the high energy works much better in a cartoon.
That’s a part of it as well. If you make roads visibly narrow, with nearby obstacles, not a lot of people would feel comfortable speeding down that street, even if they were inclined to speed. Example:
Whereas in America, suburban “neighborhoods” have extremely wide streets with houses at extreme setbacks in an attempt to limit the danger to… cars, I guess, for their reckless driving. Everything about them screams “you can drive whatever speed you want, you won’t be hitting anything”. Example:
No, plants in California are adapted to fire season weather. They’re not adapted to salt.
I mean it does effectively demonstrate something Strong Towns advocates. People drive to the speed of the road, not the posted limit.
But yeah, agreed
… then don’t respond? That’s a perfectly acceptable option. … the fuck?
I like this explanation
Lots of people have difficulty putting into words why something is funny. It’s usually not something they can easily put into words unless they have a background in comedy. I’m not overly bothered by it.
One of my special interests is humor (probably because of my difficulties with it) and I like to know why things work. If you can’t put it into words, that’s fine. It’s a fairly common response, to the point where “it isn’t funny if you have to explain it” is a common saying.
Don’t tell people it’s not important if they ask. That just makes people feel excluded because it’s clearly important to them.
Kickass, but he doesn’t understand the assignment and just wants the veneer of being a hero.
I’m autistic, repeating the joke won’t help me understand. Though I guess it’s funny, so continue on (Though I don’t know why)
But how is it a continuation on the other three? Is it just cause it matches the quote formats?
Explanation? I’m not getting it
They don’t ask you to believe anything. This is what the evidence points to, it doesn’t require belief at all.
They’re lying about the issue and don’t trust that you’re who you say you are. It’s security systems 101. If you give informative error messages, they can be used to reverse engineer the password of accounts. So every error is going to be “incorrect password”
Police brutality is worse against POC. Two things can be true at the same time
Not America
It helps kids… be the way we want them to be. And if they can’t get with it, they were evil all along and deserve the suffering they experience.
That, or being LGBTQ is just a fad that kids adopt because they think it’ll make them cool, so by banning its teaching, we can protect kids from that unnatural way of life.
That’s their thought process. They don’t understand it, so they think it must be bad, and teaching it to kids must be corrupting them.
It’s okay to be wrong
