No porn spam in default community
Please no slurs in community names. Think of something creative. Communities in the community list cannot be hidden from unlogged in users.
Communities should not be created for one time questions. Communities are intended to serve as long standing moderated spaces. Where the moderation rules are primarily governed by that communities moderator/s. If no participation has occurred in a community for 30 days an admin may delete it. (If this rule is a problem, feel free to propose a different solution)
No threatening lawsuits
Partial nudity is NSFW. Not marking a NSFW post as NSFW three times can result in a site wide ban.
No threatening to kill people or groups of people.
No vote manipulation. Especially when coupled with an attempt to form a narrative, for example post something offensive, artificially boost it so you can claim on other platforms we are “Alt-Right” or some other trash
No spam posting antisemitic content. Racist stuff should be at minimum labeled nsfw. If a community becomes mostly racist content it will be hidden from users not subscribed. It is the suggestion that racists users should be sent to the gulags. Racism is strongly condemned here. We hate racism so much. We will list communities that have been hidden for this reason on the side bar so users can find them.

Many of the first lemmy instances are extremely ban heavy and will ban you for anything right of stallin/mao. This turns away most people and we think that is trash. Wolfballs is a outpost of freedom in this corner of the internet. We generally won’t block instances if they don’t block us. And we welcome anyone regardless of political opinion. Everyone is welcome to join wolfballs or federate with wolfballs. We want to be the laid back instance where we focus on fun and not taking anything to serious.

This is a community of communities. Each community can moderate their community how they feel best. That includes deleting comments and post. Your right to shit post doesn’t trump someone else’s right to create a space their voice can be properly heard. If you want pure free speech where you just say what ever you want try a pleroma instance. That is a better format for freespeech absolutest.

No, we encourage everyone to love each other no matter their skin color. We are striving for freedom of thought and discussion. That gets messy. Banning is a slippery slope and we don’t do it without taking a very detailed hard look into how it effects everyone’s freedom to think and communicate.
