        no clue what you’re talking about. The regulations set out a minimum total weight for the car, which every team adheres to. They build the car under that minimum, then add ballast at the bottom to meet the number. These days that’s about 150 kg out of the 800 kg total weight. So if anyone does say their car is “too heavy” they would really mean that the center of mass is marginally higher. Or, more realistically, they mean the car feels heavy since it doesn’t have as much grip/downforce/suspension/balance as the other cars.
