A Facebook group for Cybertruck owners is full of videos and photos of passersby and other drivers flicking them off, leaving notes that say “WHAT’S ELON’S CUM TASTE LIKE?,” and “NAZI CAR,” and people kicking their cars, throwing slices of cheese at it, etc.

Ok, you have to be trolling at this point. But in case you somehow are not:

Hey, so I’ve got no horse in this race and also not a native English speaker so please bear with me.

To me the op’s statement sounds ironic, but not really a projection. According to google, to project is to unconsciously attribute your thoughts/feelings onto someone else. Like if you’re having an argument and you’re losing and as a self defense you claim that the other party is angry and or unreasonable or whatever.

In this case the cybertruck owner says the guy shaming him should be shamed. He doesn’t realise that it’s him who should feel shame, so it’s ironic.

Am I missing something? Or was it all just some joke and I’m just overthinking it?

Or is the guy being downvoted because he’s being an ass, not because he’s wrong?

I don’t care for the original argument (srsly, how much time can you waste on such a nuisance) but that guy is unbearable with his smugness bordering on plain old trolling.

“You have to be trolling” is rather in the same category as “do your own research”.

You’re just not able to verbalise what you meant, because the original person didn’t mean anything and was using buzzwords to appear smart.

You can not even keep the person you are replying to straight. You got called out for a bad take and now like some sort of american are having a tantrum until someone tells you how smart and right you where/are.

        Best of luck!

No no, I can. I just lump you all together on purpose, because you all do the same pseudointellectuel shit.

I’m not bothered at all. I find it rather funny to mock people who use buzzwords to pretend to be smart. I fucking love calling people out on it.

You still can’t produce an explanation, because there was no projection. One just used it as a buzzword.

This is precisely what I mean.

Name one buzzword I’ve used pretentiously.

You couldn’t even name two distinct categories of irony. Yet you want to comment like that, because you (rightfully) expect the moron mob to side with you.

You do know votes don’t mean you’re right, it just means people are angry at me for saying what I’m saying, right?

Argue the argument. Not the man.
