    It’s incredible how close council elections can be.

    By my napkin maths, it would only have taken 12 people flipping from blue to red, or 24 from green/yellow to red, for a completely different outcome.

      This is why it’s so important to vote in local elections. Not only can your individual vote have a significant impact, but local elections can have a surprising impact on your day-to-day life.

    Almost certainly a protest vote against the congestion charge plans for the city that have been introduced by Labour/LD rather than anything pertaining to national party matters.

      Congestion charge initial draft was bonkers, it included the park and ride car parks!

      I don’t mind it, as I essentially never drive in the city anymore, but I also don’t have a vote because I live elsewhere and commute in.
