I was just trying to do this yesterday with Facebook finally. I opened Facebook for the first time in a while and had one post from one distant relative and then over 15 “suggested for you” posts. I just stopped counting. Decided to finally delete but I don’t see a way to without also deleting Instagram.

So I guess it’ll just sit there now.

They already killed my Instagram account because (according to them) I don’t log into it often enough. And to reactivate it, they want me to upload a verification selfie.

Fuck that. I don’t need any Meta services to live my life happily.

Sounds like a good plan!
