I love it when gun advocates say, “An armed society is a polite society.” Come on guys. Do you really believe that?

What they really mean is: Polite to them, the people with the means of easily inflicting deadly violence upon others.

Gun ownership is just another expression of the deep selfishness ingrained in American culture.

In theory responsible gun ownership is check on the authority of the state…

Of course in US we have armed degenerates causing havoc. It don’t have to be like this but for some reason it do be like that :/

Gun ownership for “self defense”, yes.

Gun ownership solely for sustainable hunting or protection from large animals like polar bears is a separate thing that doesn’t deserve to be lumped in with that hostile to humanity crap.

Yeah, I mean if everyone is armed you can only think if they are going to shoot first. Having access to lethal force so easily only leads to terrible things

Anyone who says that should look at the science and see that yes, the data supports easy access to lethal force does increase the frequency of violence.

Yeah that only works if everyone is openly armed and not suicidal, unstable, or just having a bad day and not giving a shit anymore. I’m sure it would be just fine…
