It still amazes me that his cult members can’t see how duplicitous this is. Trump is not a Christian. He has never been a Christian, and he’ll never be a Christian. He lumps Christians in with other “losers” and “suckers” who he feels superior to. He only ever mentions religion to get people on his side. He is incapable of believing in anything besides the illusion of power and money, and being told he’s a good boy.

Frankly, Trump is acting 100% completely in accordance with a long tradition of Christian leaders, from televangelists to Popes.
