Digitimes (paywalled) reports that Google is considering a foldable tablet, citing “upstream supply chain sources.” The outlet’s sources say Google could bring the device to Google I/O next year if it does indeed decide to launch the product.

The news outlet further asserts that Apple is considering a foldable tablet too.

    Not really sure what the use case is here. Not sure what value being able to fold a tablet would even bring? At least with a phone it allows you to pocket more screen.

      Plus they will price it high along with other folding tech. $2000 for a slightly less good looking, fragile tablet? Something like a 5-10x upcharge vs regular tablets? This product will be dead in the water
