Yes, I stopped using it and went back to normal keys.
I’m on the fence, I might get a CCX for my TypeMatrix at some point…
I think it’s a good idea, I added chords to my keyboard with zmk and I found it more comfortable and accurate than the CC with its multi direction contortions.
They look really cool but I’m not sure I want to make the jump. At least for now. Maybe some day though. Good luck learning it:)
I have been curious about those and kind of want to try one. Reminds me of these boards: https://www.reddit.com/r/ErgoMechKeyboards/comments/si320r/two_board_concepts_that_minimize_finger_movement/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=1. What do you think about it?
I use MessagEase on my phone so if it gets anywhere near that comfort it’s worth it I think. It does take a good while to get used to it though. The chording is amazing but if you already have a great device you are comfortable with you might have a better time with the CCX.
I have two, but find them to be better for key entry than chording. If I was not into chording, I would still use them. They work well, but there’s no system for adding words, so you will have to do it on your own the last that I checked (this may have changed). It is just easier to learn a steno theory in the long run.
Nope, how do you like it?
I’m still very much getting used to it, didn’t use it enough yet to give a good opinion about it… I think the idea is great, execution could probably be better but a lot of it is being worked on in the firmware already.
