I always leave out a little cooler with cold drinks and some loose cash when I order shit in the summer
Having been a mail delivery person myself, shit’s hard
Yeah, I try to catch the delivery and offer a bottle of cold water. Is it weird to ask delivery people for their cashapp info?
Here’s a tip, dodge this .45 because I’ve been sitting in my garage all day waiting for someone to walk by so I can castle doctrine on them because a service worker got my burger wrong yesterday
Yes the "We don’t call the police " yard sign and blue line flag house.
THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS. I just found this in that thread:
https://www.npr.org/2022/12/14/1142270603/amazon-alexa-thank-my-driver-tipping-promotion-lawsuit
THEY SOLD ME ON THIS TWO YEARS AFTER THIS ARTICLE CAME OUT AND I WENT AROUND LIKE AN ASSHOLE GETTING PEOPLE TO DO THIS
I was literally #1 in the company with my response rate and I got fucking 20 bucks from that promotion. I’m STILL mad about it. I should have gotten like 500 dollars
So many people shout “thank you!” from their front door at me
Here’s a tip for you, get right with Jesus because the rapture is coming soon, gobbless.
Don’t smoke in bed.
Is this a tip to the delivery driver, or is it a tip to the seller? Because if the comment about this using the language options to add a tip, it seems like an extra charge the seller imposes on the customer without money going to the driver.
It does seem to be that way, but the discussion itself is a lot along the lines of “omg I can’t believe people just want MORE money” as if for nothing
How much of digital tipping goes to employees vs how much gets squandered. I’d imagine a very large portion never goes to the employees themselves.
