Microsoft has put out a statement saying they are doing everything they can to get their systems back up and running, hoping to harness the smugness energy of Mac users for the reboot.
This describes me - I definitely prefer things that just work over things that do not:-P.
But we all know that the real division is Trump Windows vs. not-Windows, so Linux users looking pretty smug today as well, with the machines that actually function rather than those that do not:-P.
That is precisely what they are for.:-) That and they natively handle Office apps without needing Wine - bc when boss sends you tracked changes, you don’t ask them to switch apps, you do instead.
I do like the anti aliasing too, and the Preview program is legit one of the better ones of all time. I doubt it can take the place of ImageMagick entirely, but it does work so very often:-).
Don’t worry, CrowdStrike fucked up their Linux customers a bit ago in a separate bad update. It just wasn’t as large of an install base. This is why everyone migrating to one cloud solution or one security solution has always left a bad taste in my mouth. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket, corps.

Preview and ImageMagick serve entirely different purposes.
Notably, as a PDF viewer, Preview is vastly superior to all Adobe products.
*anything* is better than Adobe…
Preview and ImageMagick can both be used to view, modify, and convert a range of image formats, among ofc so very many other things.:-)

If it’s not too annoying, I feel like this might be the proper time for one of these…
(indicating hard agree!)
Crowdstrike Falcon is the real issue.
