A monument celebrating Soviet-Polish unity in defeating Nazi Germany has been torn down in the town of Nowogard in northwestern Poland. This is one of many Soviet-era statues to be torn down in the country ever since the war in Ukraine began, many of them commemorating the victory against fascism during WWII.
The right-wing “Institute of National Remembrance” in Poland, who oversaw the destruction of the Nowogard monument yesterday, says that in 2022 there were over 60 Soviet monuments throughout the country. Since then, almost 40 of them have been destroyed.
The European liberal thinking pattern: “The communists defeated the Nazis but the communists were also bad” -> “well actually the communists defeated the Nazis but they were just as bad” -> “well actually the Nazis were bad but the communists were worse and it would have been better if the Nazis won” -> “The Nazis were good” -> “we should be Nazis now”.
well actually the Nazis were bad but the communists were worse
Poland govts (every one) is in this point, but still unable to publicly utter the second part of that phrase.
I love how they mentioned in a Deprogram, Poland during the 80s was viewed as suffering under a totalitarian socialist regime, yearning for a Democratic progressive republic, but now Poland just complains about Green energy and tolerance towards minorities to the EU🤦♂️
Where are the chuds talking about the demolishing of history?
Fascism at the service of the American Empire.
Poland’s moving weird lately
This lately is already 35 years.

“If we abandon our principles and join European/ Western liberalism and NATO on their hunting parties in the mid east, they will share the spoils” - eastern Europe
… A few moments later: America/ western Europe take the bulk of the spoils and Eastern Europe is still a cheap labor market
“It’s the dozen Muslims we allowed into the country that ruined our entire economy” - eastern europe
Poland was raising hell in the EU to the point of threatening to quit over few thousand Syrians, literally build a fence and assigned 100 time more patrols on the border with Belarus over few hundreds Iraqis trying to cross to Germany, but literally at the same point taken in at least 2 million Ukrainians even before the war. First two cases were accompanied in media by 24/7 usual antimmigrant rhetorics about jobs, crimes etc. Third one was barely ever commented in mainstream (and it was pure social dumping, response for job market starting to slightly favour workers around 2014/15).
