    serial weight gainer/loser here.

Exessively true. Clothes too loose or too tight.

I’ve been wanting to get back to my M size t shirts for years. I had a time where my XXXL s were so baggy I got them resized.

now they’re too tight because they’re resized. My XLs and Ls are working, but the Ls are kinda tight but not too bad

You’re doing great. Our bodies are not a single, static size forever.
I’m sorry you dont feel comfortable in your clothes but if it makes you feel any better i dont either. You aren’t alone.

Putting in a plug for the Indyx app. You photo all your individual wardrobe pieces and use the app to make new outfits of them. I’ve found it helpful and fun.

I’m trying to get dressed right now (obviously not very hard) and that’s where I’m at. I need to leave for work in like 10 minutes and everything I own is terrible.

Flip the script and wear the stupidest thing you can get away with at work.

          There’s always tomorrow.

I am not a fashion icon by any stretch, and generally choose my clothes based purely on comfort. When I’m having a hard time with picking something that will make me “feel good,” switching to “What will give other people just a little chuckle?” always works for me.

If a dapper outfit will draw attention, so will a silly one. And the silly one gives me more options with what to do with any attention I do get, because then I get to be silly, too.
