But having a tough looking mother fucking Astronaut whose wife survived an assassination attempt neutralizes so many Trump/Vance talking points right out of the gate, freeing up Kamala to be Kamala.
This is basically the best formulation of the argument I’ve seen so far. Don’t forget he’s a combat decorated Navy captain too. He has so many lowest common denominator points to reel in both the demographics you mentioned but also casual voters in general who don’t care about policy.
