“The US is scrambling to prevent an all out war” (that it tacitly fomented by letting Israel do pretty much whatever the fuck it wants in Palestine with no repercussions).

    FTFY.

Is America the police of the eastern hemisphere? I don’t think that’s how this works…

Pretty sure there are larger, equally armed superpowers nextdoor that could just as easily turn off the whole event.

Too bad there isn’t a rhyming scheme for you to take advantage of anymore.

These other powers let it slide this long so when they do step in they can genocide more outsiders without having to take the heat for the first blow. Strategically letting Palestinians get genocided for a political edge.

Some fuckin’ heroes ya got there bud.

Is America still selling them weapons? Has America condemned the strikes against schools and hospitals, or the atrocious civilian death toll? Is America doing anything g AT ALL aside from an occasional “thoughts & prayers” press conference? Is America not permitted to say or do anything?

I don’t recall saying anything about the US being the police or turning off (whatever that means) anything, but assuming the US can’t do anything about it as one of Israel’s biggest allies is just naive. Oh, and while I as a US citizen agree wholeheartedly that the US isn’t & and shouldn’t be the world police; it is undoubtedly a superpower (how many do you think there are), for better or worse. Not doing or saying much of anything about Israel’s actions in Gaza certainly hasn’t helped the situation.
