The speech that referred to Palestinian suffering was a journey into a universe of political guile from a president who had just approved sending $20 billion more weapons to Israel, writes Norman Solomon.
Would you also say that stopping this one time is “cruel” given his bad driving record? If it’s cruel, why did you yell for the driver to do it?
If you want someone to call for a ceasefire, then it’s a good thing when they do it. Even when you don’t like the person who calls for it.
