It’s a fairly cheap budget sci-fi horror, with an ending that feels like they realized they were on their last 10 minutes of film time as they were shooting the scene.

Now I wish the MST3K/Cinematic Titanic/Rifftrax crew(s) covered “Leviathan.” The movie was somewhat acceptable if a bit cheesy, until the final few minutes that are so amazingly bad that it makes the rest of the movie feel stupid in hindsight.
