There are over 1,000 games tagged “Visual Novel” for sale on Steam until August 14th.
Here are some notable dual-language titles:
- Muv-Luv & Muv-Luv Alternative are more than 50% off. Both games are dual-language.
- Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0 are 60% off.
- Aokana is 50% off.
- The House in Fata Morgana is 35% off.
Localization-only releases (i.e. they don’t include the original Japanese script):
- Wonderful Everyday (AKA Subahibi) is 40% off. Remember to get the patch for the other 90% of the game afterward though, as the publisher provides it separately to the Steam purchase.
- Baldr Sky is 60% off.
- CLANNAD is 70% off.
There are plenty of other great games here, too. It’s a huge sale. I recommend Muv-Luv.
they sure picked a not-great time for me, I’m feeling poor atm :<
I’m just sad that I either already own the interesting games (from Steam or otherwise) or the games I want don’t have the original Japanese script :/
I swear I always get notifications saying Muv-Luv is on sale, it’s like those websites that tell you sales ends in 1 hour but lasts forever
I bought it on sale years ago, too. Considering the enormous success of their Kickstarter campaign, I doubt they need to hit many more sales targets with this title. I would have paid full price if I knew how much I was going to love this series, but was happy to get it discounted.
But there are also so many parts of the Muv-Luv franchise…something is usually on sale.
oh makes sense then, I always thought the main Muv-Luv game was on sales I already have one of their games in my library but never played it. I’ll try to grab this on then if i could this month, thanks
