They want to talk about ethics and morality when people say fuck… But they have no issue when human rights goes down the drain.

The Stewards do not consider that this breach reached the same level as the most recent case and as such chose to levy a fine of €10,000 with €5,000 suspended pending no repeat within 12 months.

Ridiculous argumentation. They should have considered the opposite: “competitor has not learned from previous case and will get double the penalty”

But it would be even better if they would stick their heads in the Arabian desert sand and shut the fuck up with this completer and utter bs.

On the second page they mention that him being immediately apologetic was mitigating for his penalty. Still a shitshow, though.

There is a linguistic mistake here, or is it actually what they did?

The Stewards do not consider that this breach reached the same level as the most recent case…

      Did they mean:

The Stewards considered that this breach did not reach the same level as the most recent case…

It’s a weird englishism and in this context they’re using “consider” to mean the same as “believe”, probably because saying “believe” implies it’s a more personal opinion than “consider”.

The Johnny Herbert show. They are not even caring and hiding anymore that the FIA is the double standards organization. It’s really disgusting.
