Summary

Sen. Elizabeth Warren accused President-elect Donald Trump and his transition team of violating the Presidential Transition Act by failing to prevent conflicts of interest and sign an ethics agreement, a law Warren helped author.

Her comments follow a CNN report suggesting that Trump’s team has withheld necessary transition agreements from the Biden administration due to conflict-of-interest concerns.

Rep. Jamie Raskin also criticized Trump’s refusal to engage in standard transition protocols, warning it could disrupt the peaceful transfer of power. Trump’s actions break a precedent set by presidential candidates since 2010.

Yeah, none of those laws have any punishments associated with them, same with the presidential records Act. The only remedy is impeachment, and obviously there’s no way that happens.

Not sure exactly what pushes one over the boundary but clearly for some people they are merely “the suggestions”

Seeing a lot of defeatist postings going on here, but I want to remind people that if we stop caring about this turd breaking the law, then the bar for all politicians drops lower. These things matter, even if nothing will ever come of it.

SON OF A BITCH!!! Let’s do nothing at him again. Maybe we can impeach him a few more times or hang some felony convictions around to remind him that he was naughty.

I’m not saying “do nothing.” I’m saying “we’ve heard this song before. Somebody better fucking dance this time.”

I don’t think it’s healthy to constantly track Trump’s immoral or illegal behavior. Although someone needs to keep track of his actions and I believe in having an informed electorate, it’s not healthy to get upset at all the shit he does
